I know it has been a while since our last post as an Indian Wedding Photographer in Atlanta. This is our first wedding of 2016 and let me tell you that this was a unique south asian wedding event. The special thing about this wedding was that Sameera & Kashif opted in to donate most of their planned wedding budget towards charity instead of having a grand Indian wedding in Atlanta, GA…How can we say no to capture a wedding like this? Sometimes, you have to overlook the material aspect and the glamour within a South Asian wedding and realize that one has a moral social responsibility towards the betterment of humanity.
Their south asian wedding event was relatively small comprising of about a 100 close family members and friends. They had the usual pre-wedding Indian wedding ceremonies which included the pithi / mehendi and sangeet at the Tadka Banquet Hall in Johns Creek, Ga. Their wedding nikkah took place at the Ismaili Jamatkhana in Duluth, GA. Thereafter their wedding portraits were carried out at the world’s largest aquarium – The Georgia Aquarium. We had the distinct pleasure of working with the following vendors:
As South Asian Wedding Photographers in Atlanta, this event holds a special place in our books mainly because of the gratitude Sameera and Kashif decided to show on one of their most special moments in life. Their gratitude in itself made the moment even more special for them and also for us as an Indian Wedding Photographer in Atlanta. The couple decided to donate most of their wedding budget towards the Aga Khan Foundation. The foundation is a non-profit organization that continuously works for the development of the betterment of humanity mainly in the continent of Africa and other 3rd world countries. Our studio had the distinct honor of being part of their special blog which focuses on Sameer and Kashif’s gratitude. Please check out Sameera & Kashif’s Story.
