Destination weddings are one of our favorite types of wedding to cover as Indian wedding photographers in Atlanta. They give us the opportunity to show our artistic style while combining the essence and culture which lies within the place. When Saima & Farhaan contacted us to cover their Ismaili Wedding in Dallas, Tx we were quite ecstatic. Let’s face it…what wedding photographer wouldn’t be happy about the opportunity to travel to a new place and do what they love to do.
They say “Everything is Big In Texas”, well, this Ismaili Wedding did justice to Dallas, Tx. This wedding was BIG on traditional ceremonies, BIG on rich vibrant colors as you normally would see in any Indian Wedding, BIG on punctuality (if you are an Ismaili or an Indian reading this then you know our concept of punctuality doesn’t exist), BIG on tasty Indian food, and certainly BIG on fun.
The Indian wedding was spread out over 4 days where we had the traditional Mehendi ceremonies, Pithi Ceremonies, Nikkah, and Wedding Reception. Also, we would like to give a special thanks to all the vendors who were part of this amazing Ismaili wedding in Dallas, Tx. The vendors are
- Music – D.J Scoop (one of the best D.J in Houston, Texas)
- Pithi Venue – The Reserve Banquet Hall
- Reception – The Hilton Dallas / Southlake Town Square
Part 01 of this blog contains the Pre Wedding Images (Engagement Session) in Atlanta and the first two days of the Ismaili wedding in Dallas, Texas. For the engagement session in Atlanta, we wanted to capture a bit of a grungy look so we decided to do the engagement session in Little Five Points. The other half of the engagement session was done in Downtown Atlanta. The colorful graffiti depicted a small part of the history of Atlanta while Downtown area showed us the existing Atlanta that we live in today.
Enjoy the Images!!! 🙂
